Deborah
Nova is my beautiful rescued Rottie. She was 9 months old when she came to live with me from a foster home. She had no boundaries and no manners before joining my family. She is progressing well and seldom mouths or jumps on people now

An Awesome Play Day
HOT Dog ParkNova and I had a fantastic fun filled day at HOT DOG park. I Love that they have large pools for the dogs to cool off in if they are so inclined. They have fountains for the drinking water so you don’t have to constantly refill the bowls. Nice trails to walk on and some shade from trees. Some dog parks have no trees
CRP
Cedar Ridge Nature PreserveCRP is my neighborhood park. Nova, My Rottie, and I like to hike the trailsCedar Brake Trail is very challenging and has a pedestrian entrance 2 blocks from my house. The only negatives are:
1. sometimes the trails are over crowded w people and I am trying to teach Nova good Trail manners which means she sits to the side of the Trail and waits for people to pass by. So when crowded she has to do a lot of sitting
2. no off leash area
3. some people don’t leash their dogs when hiking (as is the law in the City of Dallas) which makes my dog want to run
Good Dog Park
Central Bark2 Favorite features at this dog park
1. Hose outside of the fenced area to hose off your dog if she/he gets muddy during play
2. Agility equipment in all three areas
My dog Nova loves to come here. But we have been here when there are no other big dogs for her to run around with. Her most favorite activity at an off leash dog park is to chase other dogs. So it is disappointing when there are no other dogs here
Love Love LOVE this Dog Park
