Enjoyable Stay
Homewood Suites by Hilton Baton RougeGood location; adequate grassy areas for relief; nice size rooms.
Great Choice
The Old No. 77 Hotel & ChandleryHotel room was spacious and had wood floors (no worry about carpet damage!). Staff was friendly and welcoming to our large Rottweiler. The hotel restaurant is outstanding. The location is great, too.
Accepts Dogs
Residence Inn by Marriott Baton Rouge Siegen LaneThere are not special accommodations for dogs. They accepted the pet fee and didn't ask any other questions. The room was sufficiently sized for our large dog. There were no dog stations or play areas, there were no treats or other dog-friendly offers. Note that the hotel is located by a noisy/busy road, that seemed to make my dog a little restless the first night.
Great Choice
Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown an IHG HotelWe loved our stay at the Hotel Indigo. It is a great downtown location with easy parking. Great for walks on the levee (which has dog water fountains). As a boutique hotel, the rooms are relatively small (especially with our big dog), but it still was a great experience for us and Jack.
I would give it a 5-bone rating if the rooms were bigger and if it had a view (river view blocked by neighboring hotel).
