GSD travel NYC to RIO

Hi, I'm thinking of taking Checkers, my GSD (75LB, 3YR, Male, Long coat) during our vacation from JFK to GIG (Rio De Janeiro), and back. Anyone sharing their experience on this route will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Happy Holidays!
