Good outdoor spaces
Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls an IHG HotelWe recently stayed here with our 60 pound labradoodle. Rooms were comfortable, beds comfortable and we appreciated 1st floor room to make it easy to take dog out. Nice grassy area right outside with bags to deposit dog waste. And the hotel is right on he snake river providing a lovely walk for us and our dog along the river after miles of driving. Stayed here twice on this trip (coming and going to Glacier National Park) and would definitely stay here again.
Near hiking trails
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar City an IHG HotelWe stayed here with our big labradoodle on our driver from San Diego to Montana. Very dog friendly - posted our dog’s name as a welcome at the door chalkboard. Beds were comfortable, breakfast good, and my favorite part was the nice neighborhood behind the hotel to walk our dog and even better were the hiking trails behind that.
Great modern hotel
Hyatt Place St George Convention CenterWe stayed here on our trip to San Diego from Montana with our 60 lb labradoodle. The room was spacious, beds and pillows comfortable and a lovely breakfast included. Gravel/plant relief area with potty bags and disposal. Always appreciate more grass but it gets hot here so understand the water-wise landscaping. Warnings were posted for dead of summer to remind dog owners that pavement is hot; we didn’t have the problem but take your dog out early or late! would definitely stay here again.
Great dog friendly spot
Piggyback BBQThis is the perfect place for a meal when traveling with a dog. Large outdoor wasting area with picnic tables separated to provide good space and ability to relax and enjoy. The food was good and reasonably priced.
Fabulous Dog Friendly Resort
North Forty ResortWe stayed here with our active labradoodle while we visited Glacier National Park. The individual cabins provide privacy without the noises that can set off a dog. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Grass right outside the door with relief bags/cans, a hiking trail for exercise and lots of places to roam. We loved the charm and space of the cabin and having a kitchen was a bonus. This was the best dog friendly lodging we have ever stayed at. We would definitely stay here again.
Yummy
Jolly Konewe took our big dog here for ice cream. they have a big menu of food, ice cream cones, snow cones and other treats. Concrete patio out front with tables and umbrellas that is dog friendly. nothing fancy but just what we wanted.
Great Dog Friendly location
Finney's Crafthousewe had linch at this restaurant. Nice dog friendly patio and they also allow dogs inside since the floor is concrete. The manager was very welcoming and interested in how to make it even more dig friendly. will definitely come again with our dog when in Santa Barbara.
Great Dog Friendly Spot
Hummingbird InnWe stayed here for two nights and first time staying in a hotel with our labradoodle. It is a nice dog friendly hotel and staff were very helpful. We had a patio which is handy if your dog needs out right away and the grass area out front was a great spot to relax, have a bite to each or allow him to do his business, complete with a dispenser for bags and trash can. our pup is noise reactive and we used a white noise machine to mask noises for fear he might bark at night…worked like a charm. We would definitely stay again and next time would get one of the small casitas off at the end that have no one above and a little quieter.
