Motel 6 Simi Valley CAI had 2 dogs and was put on the 2nd floor, and there's only stairs. The area was well-lit, except there was a high power LED light right outside my window. They did not have a shade and the blackout curtains were not effective. Saturday night there was arguing, yelling people walking up and down all over the balcony area and grounds, smoking and throwing cigarette butts all over the place. So for dogs that like to eat indiscriminately, that could be deadly. And there were some very scary looking individuals just hanging around who left trash all over the overfilled trash bins outside. If you are a lighter sleeper, the motel is effectively right under the 118 freeway. While the rooms were clean and freshly painted, there's no point in staying in a place. It's so loud you can't sleep.

Great stay
Best Western La Posada MotelVery clean and quiet. Pretty little pet area with roses and nice landscaping on nice grass. Excellent breakfast selection. Definitely will come back.

Clean and quiet
Extended Stay America Suites Phoenix Scottsdale NorthWould have liked the coffee "bar" to have regular creamers instead of only sugary creamers, and lids for the coffee cups! But definitely would make this my place to stay when at dog agility competitions. Make sure to request ground floor though.
