Great spot for Spot
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Litchfield West an IHG HotelNo extra pet fee for up to 2 dogs. I especially love this option as I have 2 dogs both < 7 lbs and some places want to charge per pet. Nice room, quiet area, good pizza place across street.
Great stop in Texas
HH Creek InnThe decor and seasonal touches are endearing. They do not allow dogs on bed. Very easy check-in and attached restaurant.
Did not enjoy
Best Western Clearlake PlazaArrived to find roofing repairs ongoing. Room smelled, door access limited due to roof damage. Desk receptionist less than friendly, limited area to walk dogs. Will not return
Nice location
Best Western Route 66 Rail HavenHistoric Route 66 motel but has modern updates in room, vinyl floors, and a nice grassy area across the parking lot.
Pet friendly hotel
Comfort Inn Ludington Near US-10We had a room, set off from many rooms, so less hallway noise. This made our dogs content and comfort. Nice area to walk your dog and a good sized fenced pet area.
Not a great spot for your hoomans
Quality Inn & Suites HannibalDirty rooms, questionable if cleaned. Evidently smoking rooms allowed however once off elevator there are 2 non smoking rooms, then 4 smoking rooms, then nonsmoking rooms. The hallway reeked of smoke and it came into our room. Poor thought in chiding the smoking rooms. It’s unfortunate that you cannot have the same quality from one hotel of the same name to the next.

Pricey for what you get
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Albuquerque Airport an IHG HotelLikely location. Chose for pet friendly and close to hospital. No area for dogs to walk. Open field behind and side but do much trash and broken glass.

Troubles with Housekeeping
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Las Cruces Mesilla ValleyUnfortunately our stay lasted about 20 minutes. The room had definitely not been cleaned. Noted in bathroom remnants of prior guest. We returned the key card, explained to clerk of our concerns. This during a pandemic. We found a different hotel much to our liking. I believe this might be a systemic problem of this hotel versus whole chain.
