Holiday Inn Asheville East-Blue Ridge PKWY an IHG Hotel1st floor room, quick access via side door to outside, but basic parking lot. There’s a trail into the woods behind, but staff warned of a bear seen in the parking lot, so not sure it was safe.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Danbury - I-84 an IHG Hotel1st floor room, easy access, low ($25) pet fee. Choice of a couple of restaurants right next door.

Excellent stay
Hampton Inn HillsvilleHotel amenities were very good. A walking trail (approx 1/2 to 1 mile total easy access behind hotel.
