nice beach!

Hi - this is not the dog beach but I really liked it. I went to the entrance off of 24th which has a nice parking lot. Its a wide beach where you can walk you dog a long way. I kept my dog on leash and leashes are required. That being said, I did see locals with their dogs off leash. I thought this was a beautiful and relaxing beach especially if you want to walk you dog. Otherwise - Dog beach is where the dogs all run off leash.

Amazing Views!

This was a great place to walk your dog. The trail is flat and follows along the bluff. Definitely an on leash area and everyone I saw was respecting this rule. Bring water for your dog since there wasnt any that I saw either at the trailhead or along the way. This is an AMAZING place to visit.

Amazing Views - great walk

This is a planked boardwalk that goes along the ocean bluffs. Its is not the widest so you had to be careful when passing people in case they were not dog lovers. You simply move to the side while they pass. I would say that the entire distance is 1 mile making it 2 miles round trip. It is really beautiful. Note: it was really windy the four different days I walked so I needed to bundle up. I wish I had a winter hat and did wear a winter puffer jacket.

There are a lot of cute hotels across the street. We stayed at Cambria Shores which we loved!

Good sandwiches - just ok dog friendly

Hi-first let me say EVERY place we went in Cambria was so friendly except this place. Someone recommended their food which was really good. They specialize in sandwiches and close at 4 pm. So I think this is a good place to get a sandwich and go to the beach. They have outside tables but their vibe was not the friendliest.

OMG amazing food and great patio

One of the people we met along the way suggested this place for breakfast. We went around 1 (they close at 2:00) and got a yummy omelet and a pancake. The food was really good. We met another couple and they said it was their favorite restaurant in town. They are very dog friendly with a huge patio. They are located in the back of a parking lot just off the main street.

Amazing!

This is the best and most dog friendly place ever! It has a great location across from the Moonstone Beach boardwalk. They have a nightly wine tasting on their dog-friendly ocean view patio and chairs in the grass to watch the sunset. We originally booked two nights and extended to four.
