Friendly, Nice Stay
Knights Inn Colonial Fireside InnWe were so impressed with our room, especially for the affordable price! It was clean and well maintained in a nice, quiet location. Reception was so friendly and made us feel so welcome.
Generous and Friendly
Lakeview HotelWe were so grateful to find a hotel open late, as so many in small towns in the area close their reception at 9, making it hard to find a place on a long road trip. The hotel is dog friendly, and they even upgraded our room for free to give us more space for our dog. There is a bar and a restaurant attached, which is convenient when arriving late as well!
Unbelievable bargain!
Home Inn Express - Medicine HatThis was a great little hotel, especially for the price! Comfy beds, no pet fee, and fresh baked cookies!
Great value!
Red Roof Inn Fargo - I-94/ Medical CenterThe king sized beds are super cozy and the hotel was surprisingly nice for the price! Just a heads up that there is not an elevator.
Not Pet Friendly, Dingy, Cold Showers, Unfriendly, Bugs
Twin Birch Suites & CottagesMy husband and I stayed at this awful place for my birthday weekend, and I’m afraid to say it ruined my big birthday wine getaway.
We were hit with such insane tax and pet fees that it doubled the stay of our visit, and the owner demanded the fees in cash, which I am assuming is not legal. Aside from this, she has a rule that pets are not allowed on the furniture and cannot be left alone. There’s also only a tiny patch of grass next to the a busy road for dogs to go potty, and I was afraid my Pomeranian would get hit by a car. It was hard for him to go potty because he’s frightened by the sound of the cars.
The places is rented out as an Airbnb, but the kitchen didn’t have a single pot or pan, so the food I brought to prepare for breakfast all went to waste.
The bed is uncomfortable and there was no hot water in the shower. There are also OCD signs on every surface of the space telling you what you can and can’t do, which just made us feel like we walking on eggshells and staying at an overprotective mother-in-law’s place for the weekend. This might have been okay if the place was not a dingy cabin. You would be better off staying at a Motel 6, which I’m told is much friendlier to our beloved pets that I’m used to treating like kids.
