Great spot!
La Quinta by Wyndham Bowling GreenThis hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and big and plenty of green space outside for doggie potty time. The only issue was that my reservation showed that I booked through Expedia and didn’t include that I had a dog with me. Just some extra paperwork at the end but all was fine.
Best dog friendly attraction
Rock CityI think this is my favorite dog friendly attraction anywhere. The grounds are so pretty and peaceful. It’s a great walk for a nice day and so many spectacular views. You get to see seven states from the top. My dog also enjoyed the walk and we were all thoroughly impressed and just the right amount of tired when we left. Definitely add this to your Chattanooga list!
Nice big outside area
Oddstory Brewing Co.Cool place with a cool vibe. Big outdoor space with swings and fire pits. Great vibe for a brewery
Cute place
Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental DistilleryThis place is small but cute. Nice place to chill with your dog. Whiskey is good and strong. A little expensive but nice people and vibe for a tasting
Not my favorite
Play Wash PintI’ve been to many dog bars and this one is just ok. I love the water features and the space is nice but my dog did get attacked. They have balls and chuck its. My dog wanted to play with another dog who’s owner had the chuck it and that dog didn’t like her in his space. It happens but I think I was more upset by the way it was handled. The other dogs owner was clearly a regular and blaming my dog even though their dog bit my dogs collar. And yes I have to order another one now. My dog had blood on her because the other dog apparently was bleeding from something else we were told. We went into the space which is closed off for dogs who need space and the other dogs wife and young kids are in it. And she kept leaving the door open. We ended up just leaving. We did go back to try again because we hadn’t been there that long. It was better after that family left so maybe it’s just them that’s the problem with this place. There are plenty of other options for doggies to get their energy out in Chattanooga so we won’t be back
Ok place
FoodworksThere is a covered patio and because it was winter we got it to ourselves which was nice. But even though it was a fairly warm day the wind blows through the patio like a wind tunnel so I would not recommend unless it was a really hot day. Also, the place was pretty empty yet it took an hour for us to get our entrees. Thank goodness we ordered an app! Not my favorite dog friendly restaurant patio but acceptable.
Good price for a night
Red Roof Inn & Suites MaconThey are doing some remodeling so I think maybe some of the run down parts will be better. The front desk agent was super nice, she also told me they are redoing the outside area which will have more grassy area. But in general the room was old and I killed a baby roach in the bathroom. I would not stay here more than one night which is all we did on a road trip to Florida. I took a chance because of the price but will stick to La Quintas.
Great location
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga - Lookout MTNDecent hotel. Outdoor area was muddy and people don’t clean up after their dogs. Lady at the front desk was not friendly. Room was big and close to outside door and lobby. The room smelled like dog a little but overall for price and location it worked well.
