Not fit for man nor beast
My Homes Macon North I-75 By OYOThis huge complex appeared to be switching over to long term rentals rather than the short term nightly rentals typical of most motels. Many rooms appeared empty and in a state of vacant disrepair. There were no pet facilities like walking areas or even waste containers to put bagged waste in. Even finding the main lobby to check-in was difficult. While I was locating the lobby the police had several cars at one of the exterior units. How this motel got good ratings is completely beyond me.
Review of 2 separate stays
La Quinta by Wyndham Macon WestStayed on a Friday night and the room was delightful (5 bones). Stayed the following Sunday night and was assigned a "handicapped" room that was "1 bone" at best. The suitcase stand was missing, the shower drain was partially plugged causing the water to leak all over the bathroom floor, the refrigerator didn't work and when we tried to report these problems we found the room phone was dead. The desk clerk sent a maintenance man who was very friendly but did not speak a word of English. We just ended up using the room as it was.
