Hotel was fine
Holiday Inn Express Lucedale an IHG HotelThe rooms were clean and comfortable for us, and our dog. Just not quite up to the usual standards of a Holiday Inn Express. The hallway carpets seemed sort of dirty and had an off-putting odor. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was good. Location was okay. A bit of a drive if you wanted a restaurant that has beer or wine to serve with dinner. Apparently no spirits in this County, so no cocktails.

Clean but spartan
Studio 6 Pensacola FL - West I-10Room was clean and dog walking area was good. Went during a cold spell and the heater/air conditioning unit only blew COLD, very cold air. Went to the front desk to request another room. Thought that was an easy fix as there were about 10 cars in the parking lot and the hotel must have had 60 rooms. Front desk clerk said they had housekeeping problems…limited staff…so couldn’t switch us. Gave us an extra blanket. Was still very uncomfortable. It’s an okay bare bones place. Didn’t realize it was part of the Motel 6 chain. That sort of explains it.

Great service
The Happy HollowI like BringFido. So helpful when traveling. I had an occasion to call them for help when I got double booked by a hotel. They straightened it out quickly and had a great person working their phones. So helpful.

Great place to stay
La Quinta by Wyndham Big SpringNew. Clean. Plenty of dog walking area. The desk clerk was extremely helpful!

Disgusting
Red Roof Inn Hot SpringsDirty. Mold in tub. Bedside lamp broken. Paint peeling. Smells bad. Was there August 2021

It was just okay
Days Inn by Wyndham Vega TXCleanish…but smelled like dirty dog feet. Check-in lady was a little intimidating. Shower had a giant bloody snot-rocket dried on the wall, so not sure was cleaned properly. Sink faucet was spotted and not wiped down. Bed comfortable. Only had regular coffee in lobby in morning, no tea or decaf. No towels in room or blow dryer, but was able to secure in an hour or so. It’s okay for a quick one-nighter when you’re tired as heck from a long drive fighting trucks on I-40.

Nice and clean
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albuquerque Historic Old Town an IHG HotelGood place for a clean and comfortable room. Ours smelled a little like Fritos and dog feet, but not enough to make a big difference. Staff was friendly.
