Bad stay

1 bone might be too much. I called late afternoon to be sure my reservation would not be cancelled if I arrived after midnight. Learned I could not check in between 11pm and 8am since no staff on duty. YIKES! Good part was the night staff, Melissa, offered to return when I arrived to let me in the room.
BEYOND THAT this facility offers little more than a roof.

I walked past one room with curtains open, lights on and made up nicely LIKE A MODEL ROOM. My room light switch did nothing, no hangers in closet, no hooks to hang stuff up, no light in kitchen. Humid room with condensation on flooring, just sheets on bed, no blanket. Then of course I was gone before staff arrived and returned after staff was gone.

And the extra pet fee was a scam with no cleaning offered during stay. Was 2nd evening before I saw staff at front desk and went in to address my concerns only to be challenged as to why I had not raised concerns prior to then and why I didn't take responsibility sooner. Always deflecting that the hotel had no responsibility or wrong. This was no the staff that checked me in, this was an entirely different animal.

I left the office and resolved to address here and with Motel 6 management. If I had been informed I would be GLAMPING in advance I would have had a better feeling to start with. But it was less than glamorous camping to be sure.
