Very dog friendly!

Freaky Foot Tours

We brought our 2 huskies. Our guide greeted our pups with a huge smile and even pointed out to the group that we have 4 legged companions with us on our tour! He continued to “check in” on the dogs. One husky gets antsy just standing so he’ll start to talk and the guide interacted asking him for his input. HIGHLY recommend!!

Very dog friendly and beautiful walk

The Arboretum at Flagstaff

We brought our two huskies. I did research before and saw there is a dog entrance fee. That made me nervous because many places say they’re dog friendly but then there’s many restrictions. When I walked in to pay and get a map, they were delighted to see my boys and were very excited to inform me that dogs are welcome EVERYWHERE. If visiting Flagstaff with your pups, this is a must go to place!

Dogs aren’t allowed on the majority of trails

Walnut Canyon National Monument

As the title says, dogs aren’t allowed in the majority of the monument. If you want to actually see the historic places, don’t bring your dog with you as you won’t be allowed in those areas. Have to stay on paved trail by the visitor center.

Very welcoming

The Cabin

We brought our huskies here after a hike. The staff was very welcoming, everyone checked on their water bowls and wanted to say hi!

NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!!!

On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

We went 06/04/2023 and they made a big stink about a cavapoo licensed SERVICE animal we happened to have with us. I looked before to see and bring fido said it was dog friendly, we almost went home and got my two huskies-SO GLAD we didn’t because they are NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!!!

Breathtaking!

Pima Air & Space Museum

What an absolutely incredibly breathtaking place to visit. This place is definitely worth it to visit. The history, the planes, the beauty of our military and space is right here. I highly recommend visiting the Pima Air and Space Museum. This place is also incredibly dog friendly and such a leisurely place to walk your dog and see the incredible history of our military. Please, I encourage you to visit again if you have already and to go for the first time if you have not.

Dog friendly and hot breakfast

Landmark Lookout Lodge

First off, they allow and love our pups! Second, the hot breakfast was delicious! The room is pretty much what you would expect for $90-100 a night and it being a historic hotel. The counters were VERY short and the bed frame was rickety. Our mountain view was stunning! I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re staying for a night. The next time we roll through for a night, this is where we will be staying.

AMAZING

Old Bisbee Ghost Tour

I highly recommend to take this ghost tour if you’re interested in history, the paranormal, and bringing your furry family member. The tour guide we had was absolutely thrilled we had dogs and all the places we went into were pet friendly. However, be aware that there are lots of stairs so if your pup isn’t good or doesn’t enjoy stairs, this would be rough. Our dogs are super adventurous so it was so great to go on a different type of adventure with them. If you visit Bisbee or Tombstone, the Old Bisbee Ghost Tour is AMAZING and absolutely WORTH IT!!

Amazing!

Contessa's Cantina

To start, no one was concerned we had 2 huskies. We were greeted with “is the back table good for you and your dogs?” Next, the food and margaritas were SO GOOD!! We were both very happy and the dogs had so many smells to smell. I highly recommend this restaurant if you need somewhere to stop with your pups! ;)

Lots of outdoor seating

Macy's European Coffeehouse & Bakery

Macy’s has lots of tables outside which is perfect when bringing your pups! I have experienced so many dog friendly places on outside patios but then they only have 2-3 patio sets-Macy’s has plenty! The coffee is decent and cheap, but nothing to write home about, but wasn’t bad. The atmosphere and being able to spend time with my pups made this place enjoyable and next time we are in Flagstaff, we will be going back!
