Best restaurant experience for dogs
Junction 35 SpiritsI have never heard of a restaurant allowing dogs inside, and I was nervous to bring them in. But they acted like it happened all the time! We couldn’t believe it. Our girls just hang out underneath the table where they were comfortable. I tried to get them up onto the seat to lay down and was nervous that would be frowned upon, but nothing was said! It didn’t last long and they were more comfy under the table (they tend to be anxious). We didn’t get much attention until we were leaving and they were finally noticed. One of the other waitresses said they were so quiet they didn’t even realize dogs were in the restaurant! Then everyone came to love on them. Aside from that, this place has the best wings we’ve ever tasted! My husband got Carolina Mustard and I got Blackberry Moonshine. I still dream about those wings they were so tasty! We will definitely go back if we ever visit Pigeon Forge again
Awful for dogs and people alike
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Nashville SouthThis place was awful for our dogs. It is across the street from a train station and there is squealing constantly that drove our dogs nuts. There is also only a small sliver of grass in the parking lot for them to go potty. The only other grass is on the side of a highway and too dangerous. We were there less than an hour and they were so stressed. One of my babies was cowering under the table. We couldn’t do anything about the first night as it was late, but we were supposed to come back here the 22-24. Our poor dogs couldn’t stay here another night, so we cancelled our later reservations (we stayed on 9/18). Someone knocked on our door around 11pm and my husband thinks it was to see if we’d open the door and potentially get robbed. Luckily we both have CHL. We were also woken up in the middle of the night around 1am by what we think was a domestic issue involving police. I slept restlessly and had nightmares about people breaking in the room. If this doesn’t deter you, it was also filthy. We refused to use the shower during our 1 night stay. There was a long curly black hair stuck in the light switch of the bathroom. Worst hotel stay of my life.
Good place to stretch legs!
Bass Pro Shops Memphis PyramidWe stopped here before lunch between Arkansas and Nashville. Free parking! 4 bones given due to not much grassy space for pups to potty (they made do but hoped for more space). Great place to walk around with the dogs though. Our extrovert loved all the attention from other customers. Our anxiety-driven introvert was nervous, but did surprisingly well. They had their first elevator ride and it was spacious and smooth
Dog tolerant
Hattie B's Hot ChickenWe made the mistake of going here, in downtown Nashville, on a Saturday night. The wait wasn’t the issue I expected it. The patio was covered but a little tight for the dogs. There’s no close or free parking and the dogs had a lot of anxiety walking downtown on busy streets. They spent the whole time nervous and shaking. That might be on us for going at a bad time. I had to ask for a water bowl after several waitresses saw us and just walked by. Finally one agreed to get us some, but she never came back. Had some thirsty pups when we reached the car. You’ll definitely need 2 people for this because you have to order inside. The food was pretty amazing, but I wouldn’t put my dogs through that experience again.
Perfect for dogs, food could use seasoning
Slider Inn - MidtownWe stopped here for lunch on our way from Arkansas to Nashville. Free parking. The waitress was so great to our dogs. She had water and two treats for our girls before we even got our waters! (Not a complaint lol). There’s boes around the support beams so we could eat without worrying about them wandering. We ordered the vth covered and uncovered picnic style seats. We chose a corner table and were able to wrap the girls’ leashegan wings with regular/non-vegan Buffalo sauce just since we heard that style was actually good, and the waitress said it was better with regular sauce if we weren’t actually vegan. We both preferred the tofu. The cauliflower pieces were a bit big and were heavy on cauliflower flavor
