One of our favorite dog friendly places yet
Luray CavernsWe arrived at opening with few people around. Our dog was more than welcome to come. Their requirements are for the dog to be held while inside. Dog backpacks are permitted. Enjoyed a walk through the caverns and the heritage farm. Everyone was very welcoming.
Best Dog Friendly Restaurant we have visited
Pack's TavernWalked the Asheville Urban Trail early in the day and finished right at lunch. Stopped by Parks Tavern due to the great reviews, amazing food selection, and dog friendly. We have traveled a lot of places with our dog but this had to be the best dog friendly experience yet. We arrived not long after opening and was sat at the outside covered patio area promptly. My wife brought our dog around to the back door and our waiter was there to take our drink order and get a bowl of water for our dog. By the time we ordered more groups of people joined us with their dogs. Food came out promptly and was delicious! By the time we finished eating all tables on the patio was filled with people and their dogs. Maybe everyone had the same idea as we did but I have never seen this many dog families in a restaurant at the same time and all welcome. Would gladly visit again!
Nice walk through Downtown Asheville
Asheville Urban TrailMy wife found the Urban Trail information last night and we decided today was a great day to do it. The trail consists of 30 art installations throughout downtown that are easily accessible while walking on the sidewalks. Traffic wasn’t an issue on an early Sunday morning. Everything is outdoors and very interesting to see and locate. Using the online map is very helpful or you can just follow the feather arrows around town. Starts in front of the Asheville Art Museum. A lot of business have water bowls for dogs outside to enjoy on the journey. Plenty of dog friendly restaurants are also on the trail.
Excellent Breakfast!
The Breakfast Club, tooWho would have thought that you would find a place where your dog is welcome in a restaurant inside and out? I didn’t think I would see it but today that changed. The Breakfast Club too allows dogs inside or on the patio while you enjoy a great breakfast or lunch meal. We came for the breakfast and the portions were perfect to make you full but not overly full to walk around Key West. Service and food was super fast so if you arrive hungry you should be able to enjoy food very soon!
Super dog friendly staff!
First Flight Island Restaurant & BreweryWhen we were sat the busier came over and asked first thing if he could get our dog a bowl of water. Next one of the other waiters gave our Princess so much attention and talked to us for awhile about how much she loves the dogs that come in. The food was amazing and the drinks might have been even better! Fans and shade can be found to keep you and your pet comfy while enjoying your meal!
Super dog friendly and a great experience.
Key West AquariumThis is one of the few indoor activities in Key West that dogs are welcome in so we took advantage of it. The educational staff gave great presentations during our time there and it doesn’t hurt there is AC on those hot days in Key West. Our dog was one of the stars of the visit and she was more than welcome by staff and guest.
Best Day at Sea! Also they cater to your fur family
Reef Quest Tourswe were looking for a dog friendly boat tour to take us out to Alligator Reef Light, some snorkeling and any other suggestions. We booked a 4 hr private tour with Mama Jill and Captain Trevor and what an amazing time we had. We were able to get a little ecotour, some movie/tv filming history, great reefs to snorkel and time at the local sandbar. We could not ask for a better time. On the even better side, dogs are always welcome. They have bowls for them at any of the stops and if your is on the smaller side then they also have floats for them to enjoy the sandbar with you. An absolute best idea for a wonderful day.
Super dog friendly! Great day outing!
Theater of the SeaDogs are more than welcome everywhere here except the Bird Show tent, but there is plenty of room to stand just outside and watch the show.
Best food we have found in a while.
Mangrove Mama'sWe were the only people here during happy hour. Our dog was the center of attention and was well loved. Food was amazing, ask for the recommendations cause we never would have gotten what we did if we didn’t and it was amazing!
Super dog friendly and great food!
Boondocks Grille & Draft HouseWas staying in nearby Sugarloaf Key and seeing that this place even says on their website that all family members are welcome, we gave it a try. Water for our dog was brought out when we got our drink order. Other dogs were around enjoying the live music while we were there also.
Great Atmosphere and dog friendly
Islamorada Fish CompanyGot tired of Miami so drove down to the keys to keep checking out dog friendly restaurants and Islamorada Fish Company was next in the list. Was sat under a covered area on a warm day. They brought our dog out some water when we were sat. Good food! Great place to people watch.
An amazing view and great atmosphere
Gilbert's Resort Tiki BarWe can on a Friday night at 5 pm and it was nearly dead. We were told to grab a seat anywhere and was taken care of immediately. For somewhere that you mostly come to for drinks, live music and the views your missing out if you don’t get the food! Some of the best food we have had on our trip! Security guard watched us take our seat and he brought over some water for our dog which was unexpected and appreciate. Definitely a stop (which it is the first and last stop) anytime we head to the keys
The food was amazing!
Carmine's Coal Fired PizzaThe only reason this place gets a 4 bone review was the extremely slow and almost lacking service. For a pizza and 2 side salads took over an hour and a half. The food was amazing, our dog was welcome on the patio (which at the time only one other table was sat) and they brought her out water with our drinks. I’m willing to give it another try again in the future and just hope the service is better.
Great place for your pup and breakfast!
Berry Fresh CafeLooking for a good place for breakfast while spending time with you furry friend then look no further. was able to grab a table outside and enjoy the Florida weather (both the sun and rain) while we had a great breakfast. Our dog was welcome and they have water bowls on hand if needed
Great little train ride through history!
Ripley's Red Train ToursEnjoyed one of the early trains from the Ripley’s museum. The entire museum is dog friendly per the staff, not just the train ride. Great experience as we rode through St. Augustine.
Amazing Cruise!
Scenic Cruise of St. AugustineWe decided to take the 6:45 cruise since it would make it a sunset cruise also. Plenty of good seats on board and people do move around so you can always get a better one if you want. We chose the lower floor front of the ship and had a great viewing of the entire trip. we even had some unexpected visitors called dolphins that’s the captain stopped the ship so everyone could see them. Our dog was the only one we saw on this cruise but she had a great time people watching!
Not just for Dog owners!
Oliver Bentleys Historic Dog Walk TourThis was one of if not the best tour we have ever done in any city. If you love history, dogs, a good laugh while seeing parts of a historic city you don’t know much about…. then this is a tour for you. We had a amazing time on our tour today and would gladly do it again. It’s not a long tour, it’s designed for all sizes of dogs and take into account the behaviors of dogs when they meet new people so they have a chance to relax and enjoy the tour also! 5 bones is not enough for this experience!
Great service, good food, and dog friendly!
Jumby Bay Island GrillAfter a “I want to forget about it experience” at another restaurant we made our way to Jumby Bay for dinner. Met with welcome smiles and seated in the outdoor patio area with our fur baby. Service was great and the food was great! Our dog was more than welcome at our table and they had water bowls available if you would like one.
Great Food! Even better dog experience!
Hurricane Grill & WingsWhen we arrived our dog was waited on even before our drink order was taken. She had her own bowl and sat in a shaded area for a late lunch. The food was great, was only planning on just appetizers and drinks but the menu looked too good to pass up the tacos and Mahi dip! All the food was amazing! Great drink prices!
Great atmosphere and super dog friendly!
JB's Fish CampJust a short distance from Port Canaveral National Seashore, JB’s Fish Camp was a score! Our dog was brought out water just as we were sat on the outdoor patio. The food was great and dessert was amazing! Enjoyed our time here and will stop back again
Ignore the Rating. It’s worth the stop and super dog friendly
World Famous Oasis RestaurantThe rating is why I almost passed this place up. We are traveling in an RV and had plenty of parting so we gave it a try and glad we are. The outdoor patio area where dog owners are sat is a wonderful covered patio area with newer furniture to enjoy. Our dog was more than welcome to join us and the food was good!
Not suitable for all dogs
U-Tiki BeachThe ambience of this place was fantastic and I was really excited to have dinner after reading over the menu. I’m sure the food was probably great, we arrived and let them know we had a small dog and the two of us and were seated right away. Ordered drinks and dinner and the drinks came. Our small, 13 year old senior dog was asleep on my husbands lap. While we were enjoying our drinks, we are guessing that she was a manager, came by and informed us that our dog needed to be on the ground. We aren’t comfortable with her on the ground to possibly get stepped on so we asked for our check and for our order to be cancelled. Now everywhere we go we ask before we are seated whether it is ok for her to be on our lap. Not in a chair, not on a table, not even touching the table. Not barking, not doing anything other than sleeping. We didn’t know it was a question that needed to be asked since it has never been an issue anywhere else. Large or medium sized dogs, this place would probably be great. If you have a similar situation to ours I would definitely take a pass.
Amazing Food and super pet friendly
Tubby's Seafood River StreetDecided to take a walk to the River Front for an early dinner and we chose Tubby’s from the reviews in the app. It did not disappoint! The food was wonderful! The server asked if she can bring a bowl of water over for our dog. Most of the seating is covered and outside with a great view of the river!
Nice lunch with great food!
StingRay's SeafoodHighly recommended on here and Google so we decided to stop in for lunch. Was able to park right in front of the restaurant and was seated on the deck. Really great food and excellent prices for the portions. Our dog was comfortable sitting with us on the deck and the waitress brought her out her own cup of water to have while we ate. The local cats are here but mostly kept to themselves and the hostess stand.
Perfect for an afternoon out
The Olde Mecklenburg BreweryBeen a patron of OMB’s beer for years but today was the first time we have had a chance to visit the brewery. Great outdoor seating that was shaded and water bowls every few tables for everyone’s dogs. Great beer as always and wonderful food. Spent a few hours with a friend visiting Charlotte and could not asked for a better environment to spend the day with our dog.
