Incredible place for dogs
Dog MountainYou have 150 acres to explore here, all off-leash (expect for the gift shop). Reviews that describe this as small must have missed out on quite a bit, or just didn't consult their maps before going. Visit in the fall for hikes and panoramic views to watch the leaves change!
Decent food, good beer, not dog-friendly
Jolly Pumpkin Restaurant & BreweryI guess they’re sometimes dog-friendly? We had to get takeout and sit in their grassy outdoor area with our dog, but had to ask if we could sit out there…wasn’t offered to us.
Could Be Better...
Bark Park Dog ParkThis park could be very nice, but it was covered in dog poop land mines when we went. Seriously, I've never been to a dog park with such disregard for picking up after your dog. It's such a shame because the town doesn't have many options for exercising your pup, and the obstacle course additions are cute.
