The best hotel
Hotel Van ZandtAfter driving across the country with the pup, it was nice to finally find a clean hotel with kind staff. They let us check in early, were extremely nice, and very helpful. They have free happy hour from 5-6. You must valet your car, but it is worth it with the lack of parking. However, it is an overall great location being right next to Rainey and a short walk to the lake. The pup loved it and I’ll definitely stay here again!
Mediocre
Homewood Suites by Hilton Little Rock DowntownWe arrived and had no towels in our room. I had to walk down and get them and they still did not have all of them. When I commented, they said they must have ran out and they are not clean yet. The elevators were extremely slow so if you have a pet that needs to use the restroom quickly then good luck. The staff was hit or miss - some very nice and some not so nice. The room was big, but could have been cleaner. There is some grassy spots to walk your dog which is helpful. It was not awful, but could have been a bit more pleasant.
Clean and welcoming
The Westin Dallas DowntownVery helpful staff. The park across the street was helpful for pet relief. It wasn’t the best park, but definitely a grassy area for pups to use. The elevators were slow, but the room was nice and clean.
Mediocre
La Quinta by Wyndham Knoxville Central PapermillFine for a night, but was not the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. Please dust around the tv and repaint.
