Dog got out
Hotel Glenwood SpringsLeft my dog in the room and she got out. The door handles are too easy for my smart German Shepherd. She got past the front desk people and started running down I-70. Scary to say the least but we eventually found her injured. I won’t be back.
Great room! Dog friendly!!
Hotel TeatroWe normally stay at the Curtis, but we were pleasant surprised how nice this place was. I don’t recommend the restaurant, we did try and eat there and it was awful. Aside from that everything went great! Dog was comfortable. 9/10 rating from me, and I’m not easy to please lol
Kind of shady
Residence Inn by Marriott Denver Golden/Red RocksThe hotel was under renovations. The floors were plasticed. The breakfast area is closed off. The room was ok, but when I walked the dog around the property I saw small baggies of drugs in two separate areas. I know there was a EDM show at red rocks that weekend (4th of July) so I suspect the crowd it attracted also brought some real lifers that weekend.. ::rolls eyes:: Not the hotel's fault I suppose but it gave me an uneasy feeling for my safety. I will not be back. We stayed at the Orgin Hotel in Golden the night before and it was wonderful.
Was ok
The Lodge at Santa FeWe stayed in one of the large rooms. It was ok. The TV was maybe 24”. Not that I require a big tv, just have never seen a tv that small before. The floors feel soft in spots and needs to be replaced, and the overall condition of the room was a bit dated. The “open year round” pool and hot tub was closed. The restaurant there was closed, because “Covid” ::rolls eyes:: I just don’t buy the whole Covid excuse, I think people are really exploiting the ol Covid excuse. Just lazy imo. I wouldn’t stay there again with as many options as there are.
