We just moved to Winter Haven and found this park for my Chiweenie, Jimmy Dean! He loves it! It is absolutely beautiful and all the dogs we have met having been so great!

THe Park is now opened! If you are not familiar with the area you can totally miss the off leash fenced park. The park is in the back of the sports complex. Keep driving straight when you enter. You will have to make one right turn to enter the park. If you pass the baseball field, you have gone too far. It’s well maintained. They have a few agility course to do with your pups. I have been here once and I loved the park. But for driving 30 minutes from my home I rather go to other parks. Still on my top 3 parks in the area
- AllieSep 1, 2019It’s Not “Off Leash”
This park came up in search results for an off-leash dog park, but you have to keep dogs on a leash.

This is a great dog park and it has reopened as of April 2018.

This is a very nice grassed in dog park. Most we've been to have mostly dirt. This one also has things for the dogs to play with. It is clean and well kept. Our dogs had so much fun.

My wife and I took our dog here every weekend and my wife often took her there several times a week, however since the hurricane the City of Winter Haven has decided to keep the ONLY DOG PARK in the city closed for months while they use the adjacent area for a "mulch mill". Typical of city decisions affecting families. Just like the lack of planning with the "Landings" commercial development. Very poor!!!!!!!!

My dogs love this park!!

The park is cared for and clean. Park employees are continually patrolling in quads. The people were the standard dog owners. There is a clean dog fountain and two agility items. My GSD lived the tube tunnel. If u go in the main entrance of the park then the dog park is last (about 2 miles?) but the second entrance is very close. Lots of nice ponds too.
- AmandaMore than a year agoNice Park
No other dogs were there when I visited but overall very nice dog park. Kind of hard to find once in the park because there was no signs directing you where to go.
