There isn’t anything exactly wrong with the dog park. It is “bare bones,” as some are. I would skip it completely and take your dog on a hike in many of the trails at the park. Look at the trail map first, a good one close to the entrance is the Brookside trail which is a complete loop back to the entrance.

Definitely not 5 bones worth!
- MariaMore than a year agoexpand the space!
This space would be so much better if it was made at least twice the size. Hardly anyone goes there due to small size. There is a whole lot of land available all around it. It is great that WIndsor has attempted to have some place for dogs to go but please just expand the space! If money is needed, maybe NWP could have a fundraiser festival.

This was the smallest dog park I have ever seen. We drove 30 minutes to find 0 dogs and hardly any space to run.... It's a waste and I don't even feel like it should be advertised as a dog park. It's more like an area to keep your dog while your kids play soccer.

I arrived with my two dogs late this Sunday afternoon and shortly after a gentleman arrived with his 11 month old Lab. After playing for awhile the dogs needed a drink of water and there were two empty bowls and no water,Who builds a dog park with no water? the only place to get water was the others side of Northwest Park and too far to go with two dogs and far enough away that you cannot see your dog! I think that they need to reevaluate getting water into the dog park area. The dog area seems to be neglected with lots of weeds over growing the landscaping. I know it is a fairly new area but looks much older!
