Lots of dogs, good dog relief area, but beds too high for small dogs to jump up on and no signature dog bed or bowls.

Great 1st floor room. Very clean. An area rug under the bed otherwise LVP, nice not to have carpet throughout. Bathroom was very clean, great shower with huge showerhead. Kitchenette had a big microwave and a small refer/freezer combo. Cute little area to walk the pups. I was concerned about the road noise but it was very quiet at night and we weren’t disturbed by the road or hotel neighbors. We bring a bed cover from home so the picture shows our blankets but the hotels are very fluffy and soft.
- KrisMar 30, 2024Nice and New
Element Reno Experience District is a new area of hotels and our golden was very welcome. There was no designated green space but it’s new enough that there looked to be space where one could be added (hint). We would definitely stay again.
- VanessaSep 18, 2023Great place!
We had a studio and it was excellent! It was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was a full size refrigerator, stove, and convection microwave; we didn’t cook any meals but they had everything needed to do so (dishes, pots & pans, utensils). The breakfast they provided was very good! It was reasonably priced & we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful room, very dog friendly, and the staff was awesome!
- JenniferSep 1, 2023Element Saved the Day
I got a little overzealous in our upstairs bathroom and ended up fuming up the house with cleaning chemicals, so I started looking for an emergency room to put my partner, myself, and my two 50 lb dogs up for the night. Despite two major events going on in and around the city, Element had a room available for under $200. We checked in at 11pm and the whole process was smooth even though my cattle dog was throwing a tantrum. The room was beautiful, the whole hotel was new and modern in design, and there was a potty area for the dogs to use. They were out of beds and bowls, but I was able to put one of the cushions from a chair in the room on the floor for the corgi to use and that did the job for the night.
- JesseJul 16, 2023Will stay again
I really liked this place and will plan to stay again the next time I’m in Reno. There was a minor mixup on the booking (my mistake), which could not be resolved by phone, since the number rings to corporate Marriott. The front desk was very accommodating once I arrived, however, and everything worked out fine. They also let me use a conference room for a WebEx meeting, so I didn’t have to have my kids and dog in the background. Highly recommended!
- RebeccaJul 3, 2023New hotel but some glitches
This place is very dog friendly but they are not prepared for dogs at all. No bags in the potty area but we had our own, but no one else did so poop everywhere in 100 degree weather. They had no dog beds or water bowls like their website says. They didn’t even know we were coming with dogs despite booking through BringFido.
This is owned by the Marriott so it was nice that they had a late checkout option for free. However, on the day we checked in apparently everyone had done 4pm check out and barely any rooms were ready. They tried to downgrade as an option to get a room quicker but we declined. We had arrived 1 hour after check-in so it was frustrating to have no room ready. Then they charge $10 for hotel parking and they oversold the parking and there were no spots after we got back from dinner. Just skip this and park in the free public parking part of the structure which is a 30 second longer walk. We basically donated $10 to them. I truly don’t get why they’d over sell the parking lot and not just how many spots they have for the hotel.
Overall, nice hotel that’s been open 7 months with nice grounds and amenities such as coffee and a light breakfast (we didn’t get to eat because no one told us about breakfast so we missed it). So telling everyone here to enjoy the breakfast! Hopefully they work these kinks out.
- Kim & MikeJun 20, 2023Great for dogs
Very nice check-in, nice room however they do not have the dog beds as mentioned. I was told they could try to hunt one down but they only had about 3 for the whole hotel. I didn't bother as I had a blanket in my car, however it was disappointing since that was a deciding factor in choosing this place over another. The parking structure is divided into "free public parking" and $10 gated hotel parking. They don't mention that you can walk a little bit further and park free. They just charge you, so go armed with that knowledge. Overall a really nice room and comfortable bed. I'd stay there again.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good location. Virginia Street was noisy on a Saturday night but we slept well.
