Fido can get a taste of the good life during a visit to the Hamptons. Begin his adventure aboard a lobster yacht with Sag Harbor Charters. The company offers fishing trips and sightseeing cruises to hidden coves and beaches around Long Island. Prices start at $300 for up to six people, and dogs sail for free. From Sag Harbor, make the 15-minute drive south to East Hampton Main Beach. There, pups can play on the sand leash-free at any time in the off-season or between 6:00 pm and 9:00 am during the summer. Feeling flexible? Join Claudia Matles Yoga for a stretch on the beach with your downward dog. Afterward, Fido can clean up with a bubble bath, hot towel wrap, and blueberry facial at The Classy Canine. Before heading home, be sure to visit Montauk, where your pup can zoom off leash along miles of white sand beaches or join you for a coastal walk framed by rolling dunes and views of Montauk Point Lighthouse.
Located a block from the boutiques and galleries of East Hampton, the Mill House Inn is a lovely bed and breakfast with incredible service and creature comforts like down-stuffed dog beds, nightly turndown treats, and a fenced yard. The inn is known for serving the best breakfast in the Hamptons, and the chef will even prepare a fresh breakfast for Fido upon request. Two dogs of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $60 per pet, per night.
