There are definitely better dog friendly beaches around. We have had encounters of irresponsible owners letting their dog off a leash when they weren’t even under control and running up to my nervous dog. Most of the water is too shallow for my dog to swim in, and the rest is a 60 foot drop off. It’s a great area for your dogs to wade around in and cool off if they are larger as they probably wouldn’t be able to swim.

not a lot of beach but several dogs were off leash. you can walk up the shoreline to the north and eventually connect with the state park. there is a drop off in the water and warning signs so I’d be careful with small kids. it’s kind of an untamed place. I liked it.

Overgrown with wooden staircase going into the water. Rocky. Not safe. There is no beach.

Wonderful small park. The water was high when we visited so no beach area but Sunny was able to get a drink of Lake water and cool off.
