Landing 21
Welcome to Landing 21 and we hope you consider our property and enjoy your stay. The canal home is in South Yunderup part of the Mandurah Peel region.
The property is a 35 year old A frame home that has been renovated and refurbished to include some modern effects. Air-conditioning, fans, gas heaters indoor and outdoors. Pet friendly.
The following information is designed to help you make the best of your time and to come prepared.
Bathroom – There is only one bathroom, which is clean and tidy, spacious with a separate shower, bath and toilet along with vanity basin and cupboard. A hair dryer is supplied along with hand wash, shower soap and general shampoo and conditioner are supplied. Bath towels available, 2 x hanging in each bedroom. Outdoor towels are provided and we ask that the bathroom towels are not used outdoors. Please note the hot water service is gas heated and we would appreciate all water saving initiatives.
Bedrooms – There are 4 x bedrooms, one downstairs and three located upstairs. The main bedroom (downstairs) has a king size bed, 2 x bedside tables, and a large cupboard. It is a semi ensuite if you choose to use the access door. Each bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed, with 2 x bedside tables and a large chest of drawers. A clothing rack is available for both these rooms to share. All the rooms have fans, mirrors, and bedside lighting. All linen, including pillows and spare blankets, are supplied. Please note that no spare linen is available.
Breakages/Losses – We accept that the breakages are part of the normal day-to-day day. However, please report any damages. Larger and high cost items will be charged and recouped from your bond.
Boat Ramp/Boat – Please note the concrete slabs in the boat ramp ARE slippery, so please take care. Small dinghy or canoes can be launched at the property, even a jet ski. There are several public boat ramps where you may launch a larger boat and the drive around and use the jetty.
FirePit – Strictly no use in summer.
Kitchen – the kitchen has recently been fully refurbished. The appliances include; a double door fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, standalone electric oven and cook top, kettle, toaster, crock pot and sandwich maker as well as an electric pizza oven and airfryer. The cutlery and crockery caters for setting of 12. Fry pans, pots and oven trays are all available for use. Dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets are provided as well as tea towels. A Nespresso coffee machine is available for use and if you don’t bring your own pods, there is an honour system of $1 per pod.
Laundry – There is a functional laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The wash line is near the shed. Washing capsules are supplied. There is a Dyson V6 vacuum stick and a broom and mop if necessary.
Lounge Room – There is a small lounge area with 2 x 2.5 seater brown leather couches and a fold up sofa bed. There is a 65inch TV and DVD player. A large number of DVDs are available for use. A large ceiling fan is fitted in this room and a gas heater along with air conditioner unit.
Meals Area – we would recommend you take in the views and soak up the tranquillity and have all your meals outdoors on the patio, however if you prefer to eat indoors then there is a 8 seater indoor jarrah bench with 8 x metal tollix barstools.
Noise Levels – Water carries noise. Please be considerate as most of the neighbours are retirees. No loud music beyond 10pm please.
Outdoor Equipment – Four kayaks. If you use the kayaks please ensure they are thoroughly rinsed at the end of your stay and returned to the driveway for storage. During your stay, they will be safe left on the lawn.

Outdoor Kitchen – For crab cooking. A stainless steel table to support the Metters crab cooker and washtub!
Outdoor Patio – Beautiful indoor and outdoor room, recently completed rebuilt. We hope you spend as much time as possible out here and enjoy the views. Local wildlife which may visit you include: ducks, black swans, dolphins and pelicans! The patio has a large inbuilt 4 burner BBQ tongs, spatula and gas match are all available. There are 2 x outdoor gas heaters, large dining table and 8 chairs. Two comfortable wicker arm chairs, a 3 seater couch and a coffee table add a touch of comfort. Placemats and a tray with condiments including salt and pepper, tissues etc is supplied. A box of lap blankets is available for the chilly nights along with beanies. A bug zapper will help with mosquitos. Outdoor blinds will stop most of the wind and make your stay more comfortable.
Pets – dogs allowed outside only and subject to conditions, please enquire.
Rubbish Bins – There is a recycling tub on the patio and another smaller one in the kitchen.
Security – The property is part of a community who all look out for each other so thankfully crime is minimal. Electric gates secure the property at all times. The house has lockable safety doors and most windows have window locks or wooden blockers. External CCTV cameras in operation.
Smoking – strictly smoke free home. Smoking is permitted outside only near the outdoor kitchen..

Upstairs Balcony – The upstairs balcony has a small outdoor setting for a evening drink or your morning coffee.
WiFi – There is no internet connection available. We would suggest you hotspot from your phone if necessary. Both Telstra and Optus have good reception in the area. A Bose mini speaker with Bluetooth is available for use.
