    So much to do!

There is tons of space for your pup to run around and even some obstacles! you can tell they mow often and there’s benches spaced out. We will definitely be back

    Not bad

The dog park is not very shady because the trees are still small. The small dog area only has one bench. On the plus side, there's enough room to run around and there aren't a slew of rules and no park rangers hovering or kicking you out before it's even close to dark (like at LaFreniere, where you can't bring in a ball, even if you're alone with your dog, and the guard hounds you to leave whenever he deems it's closing time--no clock time is posted). Here, no one bothers you and you can leave when it's too dark to see! And Kenner City Park, of which the dog park is part, is pretty with a fountain pond and lots of trees and wildlife. The trail signs say no dogs allowed on the track, but there are grassy areas that you can walk them on, and heck, my dog is small, I pick up her poop and keep her off people and ducks, and there are no park rangers, so when it's not too crowded, I ignore those signs.
