A People's History of New Orleans
'A People's History of New Orleans' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Thomas. This is not an "only in New Orleans" tour. You won't hear fanciful tales of ghosts, shoddily researched stories of voodoo and gumbo or moonlight and magnolias mythology. The focus of the tour will be on slavery and antislavery; nation formation; colonialism; racial ideology; formal and informal politics; city planning; capitalism; immigration and ethnicity; and more. Leashed dogs are welcome on this tour. The experience lasts 3.5 hours and can accommodate up to 8 guests ages 18 and up. Rates start at $75 per person.
