Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park
Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park is a dog-friendly park and historical site in McCalla, AL. Your leashed dog is welcome on the grounds, but is not allowed inside any of the historic buildings. This 1,500 acre park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as site of Civil War importance, where in 1865, Union soldiers raided and destroyed part of the building and surrounding homes. There is a fee to utilize the park, please check their website for current rates.
