My husband and I love this spot!! I’ve never had trouble with aggressive dogs in the park. Any aggression was always quickly put out. It depends when you go. They just put in a new water feature!! My dog loves it! The rest of the park has tons of trails and watering holes to walk and swim your pooch!! We go All The Time and hope you see you there !!
- KellyJun 28, 2023Don’t use the dog park
I walk my dog on the trails there, but the dog park is dangerous due to irresponsible owners and aggressive dogs.
- AmandaSep 28, 2022Walk the trails, not the dog park
The dog park is pretty basic, nearly no grass. The small dog area didn’t have any agility equipment. Skip the dog park and hit the trails! The path that says rope trail and Boy Scouts trail will take you to a beautiful quarry that your pup can safely take a dip in! Will definitely return!

Tried this place once, won’t be returning. This woman came at the same time I was there, she had 3 dogs that were going around ganging up on other dogs, one was a really aggressive husky. I have a pit bull mix and he’s very sweet by nature, if he wanted to hurt these dogs he could’ve. They started biting him around his neck. I’ve been told to never break up a dog fight but I wasn’t going to allow them to attack him. I kicked one of them and yanked the other two by the collar to get them off of him. I’m 5’2. So it wasn’t an easy task. An older gentleman with a smaller dog also helped shoe them away. I think they went after his dog at one point too. Mean while the fat lazy woman who owned them didn’t lift her big dumb head out of her phone once. I exchanged some words with her before leaving. Haven’t been back since. The dog park is dirty, seems like plenty of lazy people who don’t clean up after their pet. It’s a breeding ground for disease. The fact that it’s free is not worth the risk. I’d rather pay and go to a clean place like Play Wash Pint where there is a staff to ensure people are being responsible for their pet and that they are properly vaccinated. The trails at greenway farms are nice enough, but I wouldn’t recommend the fenced in “dog park”.

We love Green Way farm. People are friendly and good environment for dogs!

I was hesitant to go to this park based on the reviews but I'm glad I did. The large dog area is big with several ramps, water fountain and a bench. The only downside is the fence which is maybe 3 feet tall. I feel like if my dog wasn't entertained enough, it may try to escape. The best part is the creek access across the street behind the parking area. Beautiful water with steps leading down to it. My dog really enjoyed cooking off there after playing.

Trails were nice, but dog park was rough. Mostly dirt and no water source. Drinking fountains and hand pumps were not working so all dogs were very thirsty and panting for those that didnt bring water. They show a nice area for swimming online for dogs but no one seemed to know where it was located.

The fencing is not very high. My dog easily jumped the fence. If you have athletic dogs, don't bring them here.

Although the Dog park is nice, there is a severe problem with people breaking into your auto!!! Please be aware and DO NOT take your purse or anything valuable. Including myself I have verified at 5break- ins within the last few months. more Police or Security would make this park a great place to go to!!!!!

I love bringing my three dogs to this park. One side for my Chihuahuas and another side for my Pit Bull mix puppy. A great place for family photos in the fall, too.

This place is beautiful. We took our two dogs there today and they had a blast! They swam, they ran, they played, and now they are back home getting baths. We will definitely take them back!

I take my dog here often. Very nice park with grass & shade. Going to the quarry is a must on our list. There is a sandy area leading to the water instead of mud. My dog loves this area of the park best because of the easy access to the water for her!!!

I've been to Greenway once or twice and the whole place is really nice. I just took my dog to the dog park for the first time and I've never been to another but it was great and my dog had a blast with all of the other ones. They do turn off the water for the winter so on pretty days like today in February you need to bring some water for your dog or take them to the creek to drink. All that running around makes them thirsty!

Used to live in Chattanooga and I visited this park about 5 to 6 times a week. My dog and I loved it. Large fenced in area. Many trails and lots of water for the dogs to swim in. The people you meet there are also very friendly for the most part.
