The Made Inn Vermont Inn is one of the most distinctive charming B&B’s that we have had the pleasure to make our home, even if for only a few days. This is an original and distinct property – A Victorian home filled with charm and personal touches. Our room had chalkboard walls, retro décor, musical instruments, beautiful wood floors, board games, cuddly bathrobes, a beautiful view and welcomed our dog Shelby – yes- this inn is also dog friendly!
There is a cupola to watch the sunset, endless amounts of wines; complete with wine glasses, candy and snacks and a wonderful breakfast that left us wanting more. Linda (our Innkeeper) even made our pup maple bacon each morning so she could feel right at home. Linda makes sure you have everything you wish for! The service is top notch, and the inn is very cozy, clean and welcoming. We experienced a very special personalized service that you don’t find often. In an increasingly impersonal world, Made Inn Vermont is unmistakably elegant and incredibly comfortable. We will be back!

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is! My husband and I were looking for a long weekend getaway in Burlington, VT and we really wanted to include our dog Hank as well! While doing some research Made Inn Vermont came up, and after looking at their site it said they allow dogs! I called to inquire and Linda was fantastic. We went up a few weeks later and let me tell you the house is beautiful inside and out! Made Inn Vermont is just a short walk to Church street and if you sit up in the Cupola of the house you can see Lake Champlain, it is absolutely beautiful sitting up there and it was my favorite spot! Linda and her staff were beyond welcoming when we arrived. Linda is a lot of fun and made us feel right at home. We were given a tour and shown to our room 906 and it was perfect. It was such a beautiful room with fun decor and was the perfect size. Don’t worry about it being too small, It was the perfect size for both my husband and I and our dog Hank. The decor of the house is beautiful, fun and Chic. Everything is sparkling clean and cozy and it is a very fun house to explore and everything was in place for COVID as well. Our bathroom was amazing!! The bathrooms are detached but just a few steps from your room. and it is just yours for your stay and you are given a key so no one else will use your bathroom. Both the bathroom and room are also cleaned daily by the staff and kept clean and tidy! We arrived around 3 pm for check in time so we ended up having 3 out of the 4 bathrooms to choose from. Our bathroom was huge and beautiful! Now where do I even begin about the breakfast! It is amazing with many different options to choose from. The maple bacon was fantastic and our dog Hank agreed! If you bring a dog Linda and her staff will treat them like royalty! They also had water and food bowl with brand new toys in the room for Hank when we arrived! It was so sweet. I think Hank was quite disappointed when we returned home! We ended up enjoying our stay so much that we decided we wanted to spend another night in Burlington. I inquired if our room was booked and if it wasn’t if we could book another night. Linda actually upgraded us for another night in a larger room! It was fantastic and the room was beautiful and it was so fun to have that for our last night. We loved our first room just as much as well! It was so nice of Linda to do this for us but don't expect this will automatically happen to you , it just so happened to work out for us and was a nice surprise. We arrived at the Made Inn Vermont on Friday and left that Tuesday. We could have stayed there forever, it was such a comfortable stay, more so than any Hotel i’ve ever stayed at and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I could go on forever about how great this place and the staff are. We will definitely be staying her again with our dog and we can’t wait for when we go back! Thank you Linda and to your awesome staff, We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to see you all again!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Made Inn! Linda, the inn-keeper, was so welcoming to our dog and even provided us a list of recommended dog-friendly restaurants and attractions around Burlington. When we got up to our room, there was a whole spot of goodies just for Gordy - bowls, a new toy, a bag of treats, and a poop bag refill roll. She had no problem with us hanging out with him on the front porch or playing in the yard. Knowing that he was so welcome made our stay that much more relaxed and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!!
In terms of location, it was a very easy walk into the heart of downtown (maybe 10 minutes to the Church St. area and another 5 minutes on top of that to the Waterfront). Parking was also super convenient and free!

We stayed at Made INN Vermont this past week for our family vacation to Burlington. We booked this trip in January, before all of the COVID craziness. Linda and her staff made sure that we were comfortable with the restrictions and did not have to cancel our trip. The Inn is beautiful. A music lovers dream. Vinyl everywhere and a turntable in your room. Musical instruments and unique games galore. Our fridge and snacks were well stocked. This is also a candy lovers dream!! Candy all day. We enjoyed the all inclusive beer and wine amenities. The hot tub was great after a day of walking around Burlington. The cupola was lovely and had amazing views of Lake Champlain. The chalkboard was fun to leave a message or drawing. Robes, slippers, towels were all provided. All kinds of sanitizers and toiletries were also well stocked in your room and bathroom. We traveled with our daughter and 2 dogs. (BIG dogs) Linda was so welcoming of our entire family and made sure we were well fed every morning for our day out and about. Our dogs were provided treats, bowls, water, and maybe even some bacon!! It truly is a unique bed and breakfast and we really enjoyed the experience. We highly recommend MIV for anyone traveling to the Burlington area who wants to stay somewhere different from your usual hotel. And yes, the bathrooms are down the hall, but they are private… you get a key and it is only yours, not shared. It really was not a big deal to go down the hall for us, even with a puppy who had to follow me there every morning and a child who had to be supervised. We stayed in room 905 which was nicely appointed and plenty spacious for our family. Our one dog is a puppy mill survivor and was afraid of the stairs to get to our room, Linda was great about letting us know when we were the only ones in the Inn so we could give the dog a bit more freedom and space that she needed to get comfortable going up and down the stairs. She also communicated with us when others were unexpectedly staying in the Inn so we would not be surprised by their presence. Parking is best out front and you can really walk everywhere (we didn’t, but you can). I highly suggest you read the website completely, everything you need to know about the Inn is there. There really should be no surprises if you read (like the bathrooms). We were really happy with our stay and were pleased that we could stay in such a unique space with our dogs.
