IF YOUR PET REQUIRES ANY MEDICATION DO NOT BOARD HIM/HER AT MORRIS ANIMAL INN.
I booked 8 days of boarding for my cat at Morris Animal Inn a month in advance. 4 days before the boarding date they called me asking additional questions about my cat's anxiety medication I mentioned on the day I made this reservation. I again repeated that my cat must take one pill a day in order to stay calm. The rep. told me MORRIS ANIMAL INN CANNOT GUARANTEE my cat will get his meds. WHAT? You charge extra money for that ($7 a day) but you cannot guarantee he will receive his meds? Even a child can give a pill to a cat. I told them my cat will chew on his tail if under stress without his mediation. They asked if I was ok with him wearing an e. collar during his stay. Because it was such a short notice, I had to agree to that. The day after (3 days before my honeymoon trip!!!) I received another phone call from them telling me my cat cannot stay at their facility and that my reservation was canceled. Yes, MORRIS ANIMAL INN CANCELED MY RESERVATION 3 DAYS BEFORE MY HONEYMOON TRIP.
I was very lucky to find another boarding place in such a short notice. Morris Animal Inn did everything to ruin my vacation. Do not let this happen to you. Avoid them at all costs - LyndseyJun 14, 2019Very Expensive
The facility is very nice however the cost is extremely expensive. When we took a tour we realized quickly that your dog is locked in a box the entire day unless you pay extra for services. $15 a day extra to walk your dog. $15 a day extra to have 29 minutes of yard time alone with no other animals. To board our dog with some sort interaction with the outside it cost roughly $100 a day. My pup came back horse from crying so much. The training staff was very friendly and the front desk staff was ok. Most likely will not be returning.
