    Update of disappointing experience

Third and last update: After leaving excellent reviews for several visits, this visit ends our desire to return. A server seated us on the patio, and we were the only guests sitting outside. We watched more guests continue to be seated inside, get coffee and some even began receiving their orders. In the meantime, we sat staring at menus, no one came out to wait on us or even acknowledge we were there. We waited 25 minutes before leaving. I went in and told the person who seated us that no one ever came to our table. He mumbled sorry but didn’t seem to concerned that they were losing a customer. We won’t be back, especially after trying some other breakfast spots nearby.

Our second visit to Pigeon Forge and Brick & Spoon for breakfast. They have the BEST breakfast! The eggs, grits, bacon and biscuits were perfect! The service we received was also outstanding. Highly recommend.
First review: We found this within walking distance of our hotel, and thanks to BringFido, we knew we wanted to try breakfast. Our server was awesome, and she made sure that Tasia (our pup) was served FIRST! Fresh water and a special treat made Tasia feel most welcome. We enjoyed our breakfast, and the service was great! We will return!!

    Breakfast

My husband brought our dog to try this place for breakfast. I always go to another spot but decided to branch out since this one has such good reviews. We arrived on a Tuesday morning around 10 am. The weather was gorgeous. Sunny and 75. I was told the weren’t serving outside anymore. Granted there were two tables being served outside. We left and went somewhere else. I would call and make sure they are serving outside before I drove there.

    Hidden Gem

Nice place a bit off the Main Drag of Pigeon Forge. Open from 7am til 2 pm for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Seems to have a Louisiana connection and Beignets were immediately offered. I had shrimp and crawfish topped eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce, served with a side cheesy grits - it was delicious, My wife shared eggs, country ham and bacon with Tiki. Tiki liked her home fry potatoes too! A fresh bowl of water and a dog treat was offered. Another pup toting family was dining a couple tables away. The Brick & Spoon features an outdoor seating area for pet families, with umbrellas topped tables. All-in-all a good experience.

    Just A Decent Option

Went for breakfast on an already bright & sunny day &, unfortunately, just not much outdoor seating with shade. If the one table with shade is taken, you're out of luck when it's hot out. We asked about the several two-top tables/chairs in the front of the store, all comfortably in the shade, but told they don't wait on those tables; they're just for people to sit at while waiting to be seated. We toyed with ordering carryout & just sitting there. Our server was nice, but got my husband's food wrong. Then, upon getting the bill, also realized we were charged for 2 drinks we didn't have...almost seemed as though it wasn't even our ticket, which may have explained the food mixup as well. Food was OK, nothing amazing & no reason to return; far too many outdoor options in the area.

    Excellent Breakfast

brick and spoon is super clean, well located restaurant has great parking and a spacious indoor dining area. There are lots of patio tables for the pups. They offer water bowls and great mountain views from the patio. Our server was super friendly and service very fast. On a long road trip. This was easily our best breakfast yet!

    Very Welcoming On Their Patio

it was a beautiful mountain morning and we were headed to take Tyson for a picnic and hike in Metcalf Bottoms. We wanted to go to Little Bear Cafe but they were closed so found this place. The staff was awesome with Tyson. Food good.
