I have been lots of places with my Frenchies and they were so welcoming. They brought a good bowl full of water right away...even before our hooman drinks. There are very few pet friendly places on Clearwater Beach despite having many patios....this is disheartening to me as I grew up here. On top of being pet friendly, the food was delicious too. If you want dinner...I suggest the north location. If want a night life the south location is great. We went to both. The south location we couldn't get to our table without everyone loving on our dogs. We are staying at the Marina on our boat.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was loving to our pup. They promptly brought a water dish with ice cubes, and there was lots of room between tables for pups to stretch out. Besides our pup, there were two other dogs enjoying the evening on the deck.

You can bring your dog but our waiter forgot to bring our dog a water but did bring after 10 mins. Good thing I asked for water for myself so I gave my dog my water. Food is alright. Music selection is great.

We spent the day at honeymoon beach then drove in to Clearwater just to eat at Cooter’s. It was worth the drive to eat there. We had our small dog with us and they were very accommodating. They had a lot seats available for us to sit with him and as soon as the waitress came to the table the first thing she did was offer us water for our dog. The food was great and the waitress was on top of everything. We had fish and chips, crab legs, shrimp, and wings and all were great! Will definitely visit again when we are back that way!

Searched for pet friendly restaurants from the Public parking lot within walking distance. Several hits came up and we chose Cooters as it had good ratings. We were not disappointed. I had the Super Grouper sandwich fried. Me and my puppers enjoyed it. The GF had a salad and slice of the Key Lime pie.
Good food, pet friendly! - ShelleyMore than a year agoSeafood Sports Bar!
Fantastic manager! Set us up on the patio so we could watch the TV with sound for the NBA Finals game. Nice servers and great food! So happy we found a dog friendly sports bar that actually broadcasts important games, even on the weekend when they are busiest. We will be back!

We have been here a few times and food was good. Tonight while we were waiting in the parking lot, a little boy wanted to pet our puppies - but he didn't ask. 2 other little girls did ask and petted our pups, age 6 and 10 months. The little boy kept playing around and provoking them, to the point that they barked and we were told to leave. Our pups are friendly but as puppies, they want to play! So we went next door to Frenchy's! In short - if your dogs make noise, you may not be able to stay.

Went to Clearwater last weekend with our medium sized dog, went to eat at copters and they told us we had to sit at a table right next to a bunch of smokers. When we asked for another table(the patio was empty besides the smokers) we were told it was the managers rule if you have a dog you get that table and no other. Waste of time, go to frenchys, clear sky, or changs.

We visited in December 2010 and they even brought our dogs water while we were seated on the patio. The buffalo chicken sandwhich is great.
