Breakfast @ Molly’s B
Molly B RestaurantWe had breakfast on their patio with an umbrella. They brought our dog a water bowl & 2 large biscuits. The owner also checked in with us and came out to see our dog. He is apparently a dog lover as well. We had great service. We had the Benedict, pancakes, and french toast.
Very Dog Friendly!
Balcony Restaurant & BarWe were recommended by another Hotel to go to the Basin’s Hotel’s Balcony Bar because they are really dog friendly and had better food then most for families. They brought us a bowl of ice water for our dog. The staff was super friendly. The food was typical pub food and it was fine. Kid food was the typical option but they had a Hummus Plate that my 7 year old loved. Win win! This place is located in the heart of the Old Town Historical. Just an FYI 99% of the shops were closed by 5pm.
Terrible & unprofessional staff
Sidewinders TavernWe ate here on our roadtrip with our Australian Shepherd. They put us on the balcony which is great. However, the Host didn’t let my Husband & doggie in even after I pointed at him. I had to walk over and unlock the chain to let him in. Host was young & unexperienced with customer service with his verbal skills. The female server was rude & rolled her eyes when she saw my dog. (He was laying partially under the table.) The glass for the balcony rail was full of greasy smears. It was very gross and I asked her if there was something we could have so I could wipe it off. (I was with my Husband & 2 kids and I didn’t want my kids touching the balcony walls). She rolled her eyes at me. I thanked her several times. She was severely aggravated. My Husband also mentioned she was extremely rude.
I couldn’t wait to leave. The food was fine. She was rude the entire time. I waited tables in College and I never treated a customer like this. We usually leave 25% but left her 15% reluctantly.
Not really dog friendly
DoubleTree by Hilton Hot SpringsThe rooms were clean & modern except they had a wall ac unit. It clicked on & off all night. The room was a two bed but we only received 2 towels for 4 people so we had to ask for 2 more towels. We arrived at 7pm on a Sunday so they were not serving dinner so we had an Uber delivery. Bar was closing at 8pm as well but we managed to get 2 beers. Dogs are not allowed on the patio, pool area, nor in the cafe area. They are not allowed alone in room. It made it hard to stay together as a family. I watched the dog as everyone swam. Room service for breakfast is $5 charge but no place to eat in the room. It is also far from the Downtown. I say find somewhere closer.
