Excellent stay

Nice, clean hotel. It felt like somewhere you might want to stay for longer. Not a bad breakfast. I would give 5 bones but you do have to walk outside to the office, though the rooms have interior hallway security entrances.

Terrible, dirty, smoky

Motel 6 Columbia SC - Fort Jackson Area

Poor service. Night desk clerk was not there for our check-in for 20 minutes around 8 pm, other people were also standing around waiting. Listed as total non-smoking, but put us in a stinky, filthy dirty, smoking room third floor with our dog. Saw a tiny roach in morning, we were worried about bed bugs that night. Did not unzip luggage, wife slept in her clothes on top of covers. Did not leave a tip which I always do. Would NEVER stay in a Motel 6 again, even if it was free. Yuck!!!!
