Treats for both humans and pups
Yogurtini Overland ParkThis location was walkable from the Pet-friendly hotels close by. They have pre-made pup bowls that you can take on the patio while you enjoy yours. They also had water bowls out for the pups.
Tasty BBQ
Hayward's Pit Bar B QueLove the large patio for the dogs and humans. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the wings!
Convenient, dog-friendly hotel
My Place Hotel - Overland ParkWe booked this hotel as there are lots of places nearby to grab a bite to eat without leaving pups alone too long. Check-in was easy and they just had you sign a waiver saying dogs would not be left unattended and it was up to 80lbs combined dog weight with $10/night per dog. Plenty of spots to walk the dogs. We did not have too many reasons for the dogs to bark and would stay here again as very convenient hotel.
Pet friendly kitchenette hotel close to the Mayo
Extended Stay America Suites Rochester SouthWe had a last minute trip to the Mayo and wanted to bring our 2 larger dogs since we will be boarding them in a couple months. This hotel was able to get us in and provide us with a special rate for Mayo patients. They also were flexible with the cancellation policy as they understood we were not aware of our exact checkout date.
Their dog policy is very reasonable and rooms are easily notated by a magnet for dogs. The staff was friendly and loved having the dogs and seeing them. This location has a couple good areas for walking the dogs around to take care of business. The location is in a more commercial area so the rooms were rather quiet.
The only downside is the hotel was busy and parking was limited at times. Also, due to the hotel being busy they were limited on kitchen supplies.
If you are looking for a hotel to bring your pets and make meals to save money while in the area, I highly recommend this one. Reasonable rates and a short, quick drive if you are headed up to the Mayo.
Great place to chill
Denver Beer Co Platte StreetNice place to sit and drink a beer. Very friendly crowd. We brought our dogs and enjoyed a beer on the patio. They had watering bowls for the pups and the misters going as well.
Not an ordinary dog park!
Bear Creek Dog ParkWe visited with our dogs from out of town. This is not an ordinary dog park! There is so much to explore for the dogs. There are multiple access points to the creek which our dog loved.
