What a wonderful dog park
Twin Lakes Recreation Area Dog ParkWalk through the gate into acres of open spaces for plenty of dog fun. Run, play, chase and swim… repeat!! Lay down rest and start again. Humans can watch the fun and visit with other humans at the same time. What a great place to enjoy everyday or as a trip break like we did.
Great place for lots of dog fun
Rickman's Run at Holmes Lake ParkFound this city recreation area in Lincoln on our cross country trip. Wonderfully spacious park. We didn’t even use the enclosed dog park. Our dog enjoyed this lake setting with lots of wildlife to see and trails to walk. Take the time for this fantastic stop!
Okay for the night
Extended Stay America Suites Billings West EndNice staff and very dog friendly place. Older hotel that needs more outlets for electronic devices. Okay though for traveling through.
Great hotel, loved it!
Comfort Suites Helena AirportNew hotel that met all our needs. Great night’s sleep in a beautiful, modern room. Our dog loved it too. Plenty of grassy areas for her to us. Wish every night on the road could be this nice!

Not the best for us
Hiouchi MotelOlder hotel with adequate updates but could use more. Okay for the night after a long day in the Redwoods. Glad it was available for us as we travel with our dog. Great restaurant right next door.
Gem of a place
Deer Haven InnAll your dog could want. Old style motor court boutique hotel in quiet Monterey neighborhood. Walking trail to beach just across the street. Great seafood restaurant on the way. We loved our stay at the Deer Heaven Inn.
Wonderful meal with our dog

Great Place to take your dog on vacation
Pine Mountain State Resort ParkPine Mountain State Resort Park has everything your dog needs to have a great vacation. Numerous beautiful trail walks by mountain streams, other dogs to play with, super clean cabins or cottages to rest up in with the human companions. Restaurant on sight serving all three meals. Cumberland Gap National Park is only ten miles away for more great walks and scenery. We had a great time and can't wait to go again.
