Love love
Annual LABapaloozaOur dogs are labradors so we loved seeing other labradors and then not to brag but my dog did win one of the dog games on 2023. So winning a prize made it all that much better! We all enjoyed our time. There was shops set up and then silent auction and raffle drawings. Fun for almost everyone!
Fun in sun
Puppy POOLoozaOur dogs love to swim so seeing them out there having fun sure was a joy especially at a waterpark (some is closed off) but everyone had a blast just wish we did live closer!
Great atmosphere
Teton Teepee LodgeYou walk and it truly feels like you are about to go camping. It was a unique feeling and we all loved it! You can either have an actual cabin or stay in the rooms in the main lobby. Everyone was very friendly! They also have a dog on site too that’s was sweet! Downside, no air conditioning but that honestly made it fun (was a fan in our room and the window did open so it did cool down at night). Also breakfast was good but it was not a hot breakfast (so no scrambled eggs or bacon/sausage like you see other places). Overall, a great experience.
Fantastic views
Beehive Basin Trail No. 40It was honestly so pretty our pictures don’t do it justice. With that being said challenging hike for sure (for us humans haha) the dogs loved it. Will say most of the people of montana don’t seem to believe or like leashes so beware there might be a dog approaching out of nowhere (keep your reactive dogs close) luckily ours didn’t mind but it freaked us out the first time.
Amazing views
Theodore Roosevelt National ParkSo we may have gone when they were renovating the north unit went passed road closed signs anyway after we got on the trail so many amazing views ! The hike on total was 11.5. Our dogs loved it haven’t hiked that much the were pooped afterwards! We got to see cows that probably didn’t love us but they did move for us. With that being said so much cow poop haha. Such a fun experience would do again !!
Large park
Dickinson Dog ParkKinda run down but our dogs loved it. (There is old park equipment being is dog equipment). There is also poop on the ground that’s probably been there awhile (honestly) but I am glad our dogs don’t eat it or I would have given it more like a 2.5-3 stars. There is also a small and big dog park. Dogs enjoyed their time and that’s what matters to us!
Good food great service
Famous Dave's Bar-B-QueWent around closing (which we didn’t know) sat us quickly on the patio and had great service food came out quickly and it was fantastic would come again !
Unquie activity
Dells Boat ToursVery cool experience because not a lot of places allow dogs and two stops but my family is use to strenuous hikes so that was the let down they were 1/4 mile hikes while the sights were great just wish there was more walking. Our dogs would probably give it closer to a 4 because they love the boat and with the wind in their ears they were happy!
Fun time
Beasley's OrchardWe have made it a tradition to go to Beasleys and we love them are so dog friendly! We do the corn maze, apple cannons, and hayride. Never disappoint we also go inside with them and haven’t had any issues!
Fun spot
Pineapple Fountain at Charleston Waterfront ParkWe didn’t stay here long but we enjoyed the quick stop to dip our paws in and take a break from the walk!
Scary
Old Charleston Ghost ToursWe would highly recommend Mike was a great story teller and took us to the location and told the haunting story! Our dogs did fabulous and enjoyed the scary stories and got to hear about the ghost dog! While we didn’t walk through any cemeteries/graveyards/buildings he had visuals. We ended up doing 2 other ghost tours and we thought he did the best ! Would highly recommend!
Buggy but pretty
Magnolia Plantation & GardensSo we ended up doing it 2 days the first day we went around the swamp for free and went towards the gardens halfway through the day and started pouring rain but it let up after 30-45 minutes. So after the rain mosquitoes came out and got us (aka my husband) so he would say bring your bug spray. The second day was better sunny and pretty day in the gardens!
Good atmosphere but poor hostess
California DreamingThe outdoor seating is first come first serve so don’t even bother going to the hostess. My husband went up there and said he recieved major attitude from her saying she doesn’t seat the outdoor tables so he asked if she knew if there were any open. which she snapped back no I don’t deal with you outside people. Once we sat down our meal was good I enjoyed my seafood pasta and the dogs were attended to right away with water. we were able to see dolphins from where we sat. overall I would say it’s 3.5 only because the hotess was rude and you would think being the first thing you see and hear from it would be better.
Informative!
Bulldog ToursLoved on our dogs and was very accommodating to them and the heat we were in. Our babies did very well! Lots of fun facts as well as a decent amount of history we all learned a lot because it was us and another couple. The pups can really only go on a couple of tours due to tour going in a building but we picked one that didn’t. just call and ask if you aren’t sure!
Great service with bacon!
Eli's TableStaff was friendly and attentive to not only us but our babies! The atmosphere was pretty and they even gave us recommendations on other restaurants/bars/activities to do while we were here. Our pups even got some BACON! We can’t complain well worth the price tag!
Huge and water loving dogs
James Island County ParkOur dogs are labs and they absolutely loved it! Huge space to run in ! A big pond/lake to swim in! They had a blast! There is a $2/person charge on entry and there are supposedly alligators in the lake/pond. Overall would come back here is just too fun to pass up!
Hiking
North Carolina ArboretumThe address took us to a locked employee entrance. Which ended up being fine because we drove down and found a trail that led into it. It was hard to figuire out which trail lead in but part of the adventure I guess. We also didn’t pay to park another plus! The gardens were pretty as well as the hike! overall a fun hike !
Historical
Colonial WilliamsburgWe didn’t go into the visitors center but we walked down the historical trail into colonial Williamsburg many houses to see. We also saw sheep and horses. Then after walking thru it lead to downtown. We didn’t get a whole ton of info but we also walked around for free. But there are signs outside some buildings.
Fun hiking
Hocking Hills State ParkTrails were great and maintained with many andventures to go on! Our dogs went swimming in the lake. Went to old man’s cave and spent around 3 hours total only because there aren’t many signs where you are or where to go. We parked not high/far enough on the road to the old man’s cave so we spent like an hour trying to find it hiking.
Views!
Blackwater Falls State Park LodgeHad pretty views of the waterfall and a selfie swing photo op for you and your dogs! But not great for hiking we were disappointed because we thought we would be hiking around the falls. Unfortunately, it is all overlooks which was not what we were anticipating.
Funish
Halloween Dog Egg Huntthe concept of it seemed fun but it was a 15 min event because you get your eggs and there is nothing else to do. Also broad ripple isn’t our home base so we recieved 25 dollars off a dog park membership there. There were other prizes we could’ve won and then my husband will say swag was very lame. overall I paid for what I got if I am honest. I thought there would be more.
Fantastic Dog park
Bar K St. LouisOur Fido always goes to a dog park everyday but this is much better than what she usually sees and does. There was a huge turf area and indoor part as well. They have baby pools, splash pad and other decor. They also have indoor outdoor bar. Small dogs do have a separate park if you are afraid of your dog with the bigger dogs. It cost 10 dollars a dog but it was worth it. She enjoyed herself.
Fun spot
Mushroom Rock State ParkI would say closer to 3.5 but it was unique although it was a bit far from the highway was the downfall. It is also small but there isn’t a whole ton of things to do in Kansas!
Poor service
Magnolia Hotel OmahaMy husband believe it deserves -1 but some of it was partly us. We got there at 4 in morning just wanting to sleep and there wasn’t anyway to park the car. It had to be valeted and it took them awhile to check us in due to the fact we checked in late. We had never had a problem with a late check in. The front desk took forever to figure out how to check us in the next day. Then she proceeded to tell us the wrong room number only to get a call once we got to our room saying we had to come back downstairs. Overall it was just a complete mess. I will say it’s in the heart of St. Louis so we could walk to places. We also got our valet price cut in half due to us checking in late. I probably wouldn’t stay here again but it was also one of the cheaper hotels.
Fun pit stop
Rib & Chop HouseWe are on our to Vegas and needed a place to eat that wasn’t fast food. It was really good sat outside and we were the only ones so we let our dog off the leash. Fido had some good fun stretching her legs out and sniff around!
Hidden Gem
Maquoketa Caves State ParkStopped here heading out west. There are like 12 caves to explore. We saw about half of them. It was a unique experience 2 of them are huge and you actually go underground. There is also a part of the cave where you can go spelunking if you want to do that. There was a part that was closed but for the most part we could see all of them. We are glad we stopped here.
Fun activity
Cheyenne Botanic GardensWe were wanting to do something in Cheyenne and saw this and it was fun to walk around. It’s a smaller garden but we got a couple of cute pictures of my Fido. They aren’t allowed inside which was sad but we had fun.
Great location
Historic Plains HotelIt was the best option for what we needed which was one night in downtown Cheyenne. It is in the heart of downtown. The hotel is very unique western older vibe. That goes without saying there is only one outlet in the room. There also isn’t a good place to take your dog to the bathroom other than across the street.
Love it
Dog Park at Clay TerraceWe love it !! we go there everyday !! I will admit there are the a few fights but nothing major!! They have a Facebook page too if you want to check it out !!
Better location
Pensacola Beach East Dog ParkEast park is far out but I liked it better than west. It also isn’t as crowded as west. Both are still small but overall I like east better.
Small and leash required ?
Pensacola Beach West Dog ParkThe park isn’t terribly big. When I go to the beach my favorite thing to do it is walk up and down it looking for shells and getting some exercise. Well you can’t do that😭 Also the sign says leash required but then half the dogs aren’t on a leash. They don’t even enforce it which sucks because I know if my baby was off somehow we would get scolded for it. Overall it was fun to chill at the beach but just wish there was more room.
Amazing place
Crabs - We Got 'EmThe atmosphere was amazing! We were right on the beach eating our food. There was crab races happening and then live music later in the dinner. Staff so dog friendly. Would go back! Food was good and they are large portions of food. It looked like I didn’t even touch my food just because it was so big.
Worth it
Nick's BoathouseWe went there on a Friday night and they had live music and we were right now the water. Loved the atmosphere and the food was good too! We might be going back again! As previous rating have said watch out for the cat. The cat was still there and our pup didn’t like it. Other than that great experience!
Friendly Staff
Frisky Dolphin Sunset Oyster Bar & GrillThis place is like a drinkhole aka a run down bar. We were looking out onto the water which was great! Staff was friendly! Everyone wanted to play with our dog we really enjoyed ourselves!
Fun spot
Bayview Dog Park and BeachA fun spot to take your dog was nervous about all the reviews written before. The place is a little run down but we had the water right there to play in. The rules say leash so I brought a long leash so she could swim and move around but it seems to be up to you and the other people there. I was the only one that had my dog on a leash so I eventually took her off. Overall great place to take your dog!
